“Anyone but Obama”
This mainstream Republican philosophy is detrimental to practically everything.
I’ve seen so many Republicans say they’ll vote for the GOP nominee regardless, because they don’t want Obama re-elected.
I agree, Obama being re-elected would be pretty bad, however, many of the GOP nominee’s aren’t very different from him and share his disastrous views on foreign policy and big government.
When I say I support Ron Paul, people dismiss that as fringe, and then throw words like ‘Paulbot’ around, as if it’s a bad thing.
Was Thomas Jefferson a Paulbot too?
Anyway, the point I’m trying to make here is many of the GOP nominee’s do not represent real conservatism, so why would I want to vote for them when they’re just Bushobama round three?
Ron Paul represents true conservatism in this country.
Mitt Romney does not.
Rick Santorum does not.
Newt Gingrich does not.
They are part of this big government neo-conservatism that has hijacked the mainstream GOP since the Bush years.
Neo-conservatism is just as destructive an ideology as Obama’s liberalism.
Neo-conservatism is big government spending: Stuff Bush did. Stuff Obama does.
Neo-conservatism is restrictions of individual liberties: Stuff Bush did. Stuff Obama does.
Neo-conservatism is unconstitutional warfare and excessive overseas spending: Stuff Bush did. Stuff Obama does.
These are the things a Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich would continue, hurting this country even more than it has already been hurt.
These are the things Ron Paul wants to stop.
That is why Ron Paul has my support.
That is why I will not say I will vote for anyone but Obama. I will say that I will never vote for Obama. But I would find it very difficult to cast my vote for a Romney, or Santorum, or Gingrich.
Because in the end, if everyone does the same thing, and the same thing is what has been hurting this country for the last who-knows-how-many-years, then it doesn’t matter if there is a ‘D’ or an ‘R’ next to their name.
Ron Paul 2012.
