The Friend Zone.
To many guys whine and moan about the ‘friend zone’ and about how if they’re nice to a girl, the only thing that happens is that they become friends and never get anywhere with her.
In my younger and more vulnerable years (Yes to quote Fitzgerald) I believed this.
Now, I think it’s the most idiotic nonsensical argument ever. You’re SUPPOSED to be nice to people, right? If you’re being nice to a girl only because you want to get in her pants, then you have a serious moral problem and your compass is a little askew. In other words, you’re a bag of dicks.
Just because you’re being friendly to her, doesn’t mean she owes you her body or anything above her own returned friendship. You’re supposed to be nice to people because it’s the right thing to do. You are not owed anything for doing what should already be done.
The friend zone does not exist.
And I think I just became a feminist.
