If you liked Rick Santorum…

…you probably should not call yourself a conservative. Because Santorum was most definitely not one.

The problem with governing by faith is that not everyone in this country ascribes to your faith.

Rick Santorum and other religious zealots….that ones to you.

Voted for Ron Paul today in the P.A. Primaries.

Saw Ron Paul today!

At Independence Hall in my lovely hometown of Philadelphia.

It was cold, wet, rainy, and disgusting outside. I got soaked to the core and was freezing the entire time.

Worth every second.

Ron Paul for President.

No one else.

Rick Santorum just dropped out of the Presidential race.

Thank God, the GOP needs less neo-con religious zealots, and more actual constitutional conservatives. Newt I-cheated-on-all-my-wives-and-got-kicked-out-of-office-for-ethical-wrongdoing Gingrich and Mitt I-am-a-flip-flopping-war-mongering-big-government-statist Romney should both drop out too and leave it up to the real conservative to take on Obama. By the way, if you don’t get what I’m saying, Ron Paul has been the only real conservative running since the beginning.

The Paul campaign hasn’t gotten in touch with me yet.

I think that they should do that.

Ron Paul is 0 for 23.

But even if he goes 0 for 50, he’s still the only GOP candidate that will get my vote.

End of story.

I will take a slight vindictive pleasure in watching Obama slaughter the GOP nominee after the libertarian base abandons the party because of the way it treats Paul.

You need us to win.

You won’t win without us.

Seriously, if you still support Obama, you lose some of my respect.

I don’t care what your arguments for supporting him are, the NDAA destroys all of them.

Impeach Obama for signing.

Impeach Congressmen who voted yes.

Dear Rick Santorum, stop with the act. You are not a real conservative. Real conservatives do not vote to raise the debt ceiling or to increase the size of government departments. Real conservatives do not support unconstitutional foreign aggression. Real conservatives do not support regulating the social lives of citizens based off of religious zealotry. You are a phony disgrace to the idea of conservatism, you are a disgrace to the Republican Party, and you are a disgrace to human decency. Go fuck yourself. Love, me.

‘You’re only libertarian because you like weed.’

I’ve never smoked marijuana in my life, nor have any desire too.

That is all.

Because I hate when people say that shit.

Considering quitting the Republican Party.

Because it is literally an absolute disgrace compared to what it once was.

Dear neo-cons,

You are not pro-life if you support war.

Then again Ron Paul is against equal right for minorities, wants to outlaw abortion and tax credit, actively works to let corporations pollute as much as they want, opposes the UN and same-sex marriage, wants to repel the Gun Control Act, not to mention citizenship to those born in the US if their parents aren't and privatise education (allowing discrimination based on race and teaching creationism/I.D. as science). Not having a president wage war is not worth him waging war on human rights.

  • He’s not against equal rights. He voted against the Civil Rights bill because it infringed on property rights, he’s said he would have signed it if not for that section. Also he’s against the drug war, which is discriminatory, and would free all non-violent drug offenders, the majority of which are minorities. So your argument has no merit.
  • He thinks abortion is up to the states because the federal government doesn’t have that authority.
  • He’s against government regulation that strangles the free market, and is against the failures of Keynesian economics. Please understand the business cycle and the differences between a centralized and decentralized economy before you talk about businesses.
  • What does the UN actually do that is good? Besides let dictators join their human rights commission.
  • He’s not against same-sex marriage, he thinks marriage should not be defined by the government, and has openly stated that homosexuals should be allowed to marry.
  • Gun control is useless and does no good. And read the Constitution, the right to bear arms is the second amendment. Period. There is no getting around it.
  • He wants to end birth right citizenship, I do disagree with him on that, that’s an iffy subject.
  • He wants the government out of education, which would drastically lower tuition prices for colleges. And really, what good as the government ever done for education? No Child Left Behind? Lol.
  • He is not waging a war on human rights, but Obama and the rest of the GOP candidates are. They support assassinating American citizens, Obama has assassinated American citizens, and they support the NDAA which destroys due process and the bill of rights and allows American citizens to be detained indefinitely without charge or trial. None of the others also understand economics and continue the failed policies that led the housing bubble and the recession, and no one else wants to audit and hold the Central Bank responsible for the mess it has caused and how it is currently destroying our currency.
  • So yeah, you’re wrong on most of what you said.
  • Ron Paul 2012.

Not voting for Ron Paul because he personally believes in Creationism, and is personally pro-life?

Congratulations, you now acknowledge that someone being religious and pro-life are more important issues than unconstitutional wars, deep, deep deficits, a horrible economy, and the erosion of the Bill of Rights.

In other words, you are probably really dumb.

Ron Paul is, quite frankly, a piece of poop.

He thinks if somebody can only have an abortion/morning after pill after an “honest rape.”

He is so anti-choice it makes me want to vomit. He wants to keep this war on womyn* going.

He doesn’t believe in reproductive healthcare and freedoms for people. That’s just a dick move.

He wants to cut funding to the FDA, the CDC, and many other health organizations. He would also quit all foreign aid and funding, and cut corporate taxes down to 15 percent. There’s plenty more fiscal decisions that could totally fuck us over, but those are the ones I have on top of my head.

He doesn’t believe in the separation of Church and State, which is just silly.

He thinks if you’re sexually harassed in your place of work, that you should just suck it up and quit.

He wants to define marriage as between one man and one woman in his grody Marriage Protection Act.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s he wanted to abolish public schools. I mean, what the actual fuck?

This guy also thinks access to education isn’t a right. No college for poor kids in poor families who work their asses off and have good grades!

He doesn’t believe in global warming, which is definitely happening.

The only reason people brocialists like him is because he is “anti-war” and totally fine with legalizing weed.

What the fuck, people.

  • The majority of things you listed are minor issues compared to the real problems we face, which is what my OP was originally about, so I don’t know why you listed all of these things reinforcing my original point.
  • Anyway, he is personally pro-life, but thinks abortion isn’t a federal issue and should be up to the states. And him being pro-life is not a good enough reason to not vote for him because economically and foreign affairs wise, which are far more important than abortion, he has the best answers. And the ‘honest rape’ comment obviously meant ‘actually raped’ which anyone with common sense can realize, because as much as you hate to admit it, false rape does exist.
  • And it’s spelled women, not womyn.
  • Do you mean taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood? Well he’s right, taxpayers shouldn’t fund private organizations, especially because we have no control over where that tax money goes too, whether it be abortions, contraceptives etc. There’s no problem with contraceptives, but a pro-life person for example would be pretty upset if their tax money was funding abortions.
  • Federal departments don’t exactly do anything beneficial that private enterprises couldn’t do just as well, or even better. The majority of our federal departments drain our money and use it and accomplish little to nothing except to increase the national debt level. The majority of them should be eliminated.
  • Taxes should be as low as possible for everyone. High taxes do nothing beneficial at all, and never will. Also he wants to audit and end the central bank and put an end to the failures of Keynesian economics such as TARP. He also wants to cut regulations on businesses which will bring overseas jobs back and make it easier for small businesses to grow. And if you think Keynesian economics are good, you need to study more economics.
  • He’s actually a Constitutionalist, so your statement that he doesn’t believe in the separation of Church and State is pretty wrong.
  • He’s openly said gay people should be allowed to get married and be allowed to call it whatever they want, and that the federal government should be out of marriage.
  • Education isn’t a right, it’s a business. Same with healthcare. When someone has to provide you with something, it can’t be a right. That’s impossible. Our rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Free education and free healthcare are not rights, nor should they be.
  • There are contradictory reports about global warming, for example, the Himalayan mountains have lost no ice over the past 10 years. That’s pretty contradictory to global warming. But again, global warming is a non-issue compared to much more important things.
  • He is anti-war. I don’t know why you put that in quotations, because he’s anti-war, anti-foreign aid, and against preemptive war. This is a fact. And that’s a good thing.
  • He’s against the drug-war, which is another very good thing, because the drug war is a waste of money and discriminatory. It also puts too many people in jail for non-violent crimes.
  • So again, really? His economic and foreign policies are easily the best out of any of the GOP candidates, and Obama is a complete disaster.
  • Out of curiosity, if you support Obama, I’m just going to throw it out there that he’s authorized the assassination of American citizens, signed the NDAA indefinite detention bill into law, increased the debt exponentially, lied about Iraq, signing statements, superPACS, illegally bombed Pakistan, Libya, and multiple other countries, passed a disastrous healthcare law and a disastrous stimulus, which didn’t work, and voted to censor the internet through ACTA. Also, he’s flip flopped on gay marriage, which is probably an important issue to you since you don’t seem to care much for the economy or our debt, at least according to your reasons for disliking Ron Paul.

Not voting for Ron Paul because he personally believes in Creationism, and is personally pro-life?
